Reality television personality Spencer Pratt has once again captured social media’s attention, this time with a high-profile endorsement from Foodgod. The influencer declared he would return to Los Angeles if Pratt were to win the mayoral election.
“If Spencer Pratt wins, I’m moving back to L.A.,” Foodgod exclaimed in a video clip that quickly went viral after being shared by the Adam’s Apple X account.
With over 8 million followers on TikTok, Foodgod expressed concern for Los Angeles, describing it as being at a crisis point. He praised Pratt as the sole candidate capable of restoring what he referred to as the “old L.A.”
“L.A. needs new energy. Please bring back the old L.A. because it’s got a heartbeat,” Foodgod urged. “Right now, if Spencer doesn’t win, L.A. is done. I might never go back.”
His remarks rapidly gained traction online, adding to the series of viral moments that have characterized Pratt’s unconventional campaign for mayor.
Jonathan Cheban, known professionally as Foodgod, gained fame through his association with the Kardashians and has amassed a significant online following centered on luxury dining, celebrity culture, and nightlife.
But in the interview, he shifted into blunt political frustration, saying New York was âon fireâ while arguing Los Angeles had lost the energy that once made the city magnetic.
âI know that heâs going to fight to bring it back,â Foodgod said of Pratt. âThis is the only shot L.A.âs got.â
The exchange also tapped into a growing undercurrent Pratt has been trying to harness throughout the race: the idea that Los Angeles has become unaffordable, chaotic and culturally hollowed out under current leadership.
The viral clip landed just as Pratt continues to dominate online attention surrounding the race, despite having no traditional political background.
His debate appearances, social media videos and attacks on homelessness spending have repeatedly generated outsized engagement compared to establishment candidates.
âAnd I heard he crushed it on the debate tonight,â Foodgod added before leaving the interview.
