Missouri state troopers have recaptured an escaped murderer who fled a Tennessee prison last week, a highway patrol spokesperson told News Outlet on Tuesday.
Jacob Allen Morley escaped from the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville, Tennessee, on Oct. 25, officials previously said.
Authorities had not immediately released details about the capture, but the spokesperson said additional information would be provided.

“This just happened, so we’re still gathering all the details,” he said.
Prison staff realized Morley was missing at about 11:30 p.m. A subsequent review of surveillance video showed him passing through the facility’s perimeter fence. Tennessee Highway Patrol dispatch audio indicated that Morley was last seen at the prison around 4 p.m. Sunday.
This is a breaking news story.
