Royals, they’re just like us!
Prince Louis was seen playfully mimicking his older brother, Prince George, during Monday’s event commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Wearing suits and ties, the young royals sat side by side for the military procession that began at the Queen Victoria Memorial in London.
In the impressive parade, 7-year-old Louis—who celebrated his birthday last month—amusedly imitated his brother’s gestures, particularly his trademark hair flip.
Cheeky footage showed Louis, obviously amused by his older brother, mimicking the 11-year-old’s hair flip and then playfully exaggerating by dramatically smoothing his own hair.
The adorable moment quickly went viral on social media, with fans eagerly joining in on the fun.
“Prince Louis getting ready like he’s got a royal Zoom call in 5,” one royal water quipped.
Another wrote, “This is hilarious. Royals or not, brothers are the same everywhere!”
“That kid is going to be a real source of entertainment… as long as you’re not related to him,” another said, while a fourth added, “Wait I’m obsessed with this.”
Elsewhere during the procession, Louis was seen sweetly brushing off his dad Prince William’s military uniform before tugging on part of the ensemble.
Additionally, the young royal made silly faces and stuck his tongue out during the ceremony, showing off his missing teeth like he did in the photo from his 7th birthday on April 23.
Louis was seated between William, 42, and older brother George, who will celebrate his 12th birthday on July 22.
Princess Catherine and her daughter Charlotte, 10, sat beside them in the front row.
The Waleses walked together as they observed the parade outside Buckingham Palace before taking their seats. King Charles and Queen Camilla also attended the parade.
Prince Edward, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence and Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, were also at the commemoration event.
VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) marks the date when World War II officially ended in Europe. William’s great-grandfather King George VI was head of the monarchy at the time.
The British royals are expected to mark VE Day with multiple events throughout the week.
