In a tragic development, the body of Murry Alexis Foust, a student from Northern Kentucky University who had been reported missing, has been discovered, as confirmed by the police. The discovery brings a somber end to the search that had gripped the community.
Foust had last been seen on April 27 in the Latonia area of Covington, a location a mere nine miles from Cincinnati. The Covington Police Department released a statement detailing these last known whereabouts, which had been a focal point of the search efforts.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the Foust family and their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. While we are saddened by this loss, we hope this development can provide the family with some answers and a measure of closure,” a spokesperson for the Covington Police Department expressed, highlighting the collective grief and the search for solace following this tragic event.
Foust’s remains were located by a search party at 1 Steel Plant Road in Wilder, Kentucky. This effort was independently organized, underscoring the community’s commitment to finding the missing student.
Authorities have indicated that there is no suspicion of foul play involved in Foust’s death, a detail that might offer some relief amidst the sorrow.

Foust was on the cusp of completing her fine arts degree at the university’s College of Arts and Sciences, with graduation just around the corner, as reported by WCPO. Her untimely passing is a distressing loss to both her family and the university community.
Friends of Foust told WCPO that Foust was planning to go to a class at Northern Kentucky University on the afternoon Foust went missing. Friends said Foust’s phone was found at the student’s home and Foust’s backpack was located on the university campus, according to WCPO.
The cause of death has not been released.
