A dramatic incident unfolded in Sunland as a Los Angeles Fire Department truck lost control, colliding with multiple parked vehicles before crashing into a building, all of which was captured on video.
The accident occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday at 10500 N. McVine Ave., resulting in minor injuries to two LAFD firefighters. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported, according to information from the LAFD.
The video footage reveals the fire engine careening down the street, hitting parked cars, flipping onto its side, and ultimately crashing into an H&R Block office.
Fire officials informed ABC 7 that the fire truck was en route to a call about a structure fire when the incident occurred.
“One of our fire engines was responding to a structure fire call in the area when they were involved in a traffic accident,” an LAFD captain explained to the news outlet. “Their engine rolled over into a building. There were two firefighters in that fire engine; they were both taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. At this time, no civilians have been reported injured.”
The Los Angeles police are currently investigating the cause of the crash. The LAFD has not yet disclosed the names of the two injured firefighters.

The wreck prompted a serious response from first responders, with several ambulances and fire engines on scene.
Employees at a nearby Panda Express told ABC 7 that they had to evacuate the eatery, and several other businesses needed to close early for the day.
A cleanup of the area along Foothill Boulevard between McVine and Oro Vista avenues took hours to complete.
