In an effort to locate missing American Lynette Hooker, the US Coast Guard has dispatched cadaver dogs to the Bahamas, where she disappeared 11 days ago.
The specialized K-9 unit arrived at the popular Caribbean destination on Wednesday morning, as confirmed by Royal Bahamas Police Assistant Commissioner Advardo Dames in a statement to ABC News.

Lynette, aged 55, was last seen on April 4. According to her husband Brian, she accidentally fell overboard from their dinghy while they were heading back to their yacht late at night.
Brian Hooker, 59, was taken into custody on April 8 for questioning but was released on Monday after authorities did not lay any charges within the stipulated time.
