Skokie news: Video shows thieves break into liquor store on Dempster Street in Skokie, crash into police squad car, officials say

In the early hours of Thursday morning, an audacious theft unfolded in the north suburbs of Skokie, Illinois, when a group of thieves targeted a local liquor store. The incident, captured on surveillance footage, took place around 3:30 a.m. on the 3500 block of Dempster Street, according to police reports.

The store owner disclosed to ABC7 that the thieves made off with approximately $10,000 worth of liquor, alongside $100 in coins which they seized from the register.
