Real Madrid will reportedly attempt to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe again next summer.

As reported by The Athletic, Real will tell Mbappe that he must decide by mid-January whether he will sign for them.

The report states that some at PSG believe that Real will not be able to match the forward’s wage demands.

From January 1 Mbappe will be able to negotiate with other clubs regarding a free transfer due to the fact that he will be in the last six months of his PSG contract.

Some at PSG believe Carlo Ancelotti’s Real won’t be able to meet Mbappe’s wage demands

Real appeared set to sign Mbappe in 2022 but he eventually elected to remain at PSG instead.

The 25-year-old has direct contact with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, which could help to facilitate a move.

Mbappe has scored 233 goals in 288 appearances for PSG since joining, initially on loan, from Monaco in 2017.

Real aim to make a profit each year, which could make the signing of Mbappe difficult.

Therefore if Mbappe was to join Real then he would be following the likes of Jude Bellingham by turning down better financial offers from elsewhere in order to do so.
