Boston Celtics forward Jordan Walsh has agreed to a three-year, $15 million contract extension that keeps him under team control through the 2029-30 season, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Boston first exercised Walsh’s $2.4 million team option for the 2026-27 season, then added three more years to the deal after the young wing established himself as an important part of the Celtics’ rotation last season.
Walsh delivered the best production of his career, averaging 5.4 points and 4.0 rebounds across 68 games, including 25 starts. The 6-foot-6 forward also made a significant leap as a shooter, hitting 38% of his 3-point attempts after connecting on just 27% from beyond the arc over his first two seasons.
