The 15-year-old stepson of a nurse is scheduled to be deposed regarding the disturbing details of alleged abuse after his stepmother was reportedly caught engaging in improper behavior when her husband unexpectedly arrived.

Florida woman Alexis Von Yates, 34, has pleaded not guilty after being charged with sexual battery for her alleged assault of the teen.

She was arrested after the teen went to visit his dad and stepmom in Ocala, Florida, for a summer vacation last year.

On July 26, 2024, Yates put her own two children to bed and joined her stepson on the living room couch, police claim.

According to reports, the pair had been using a THC vape, playing video games, and watching a horror movie at 1 am before Yates supposedly initiated inappropriate conversations with the teenager.

Her lineman husband was at work but he later came home unexpectedly and walked in to find his wife and son naked on the couch, the affidavit says.

New court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun show the juvenile is set to be deposed on June 20 via Zoom as he’s asked about the alleged abuse.

He will be asked questions by attorneys and likely an official court reporter or another officer authorized by law.

The latest filing reads: “The deposition is being taken for the purpose

of discovery, for use at trial, or both of the foregoing, or for such other purposes as are permitted under the applicable and governing rules.”

A source familiar with the case remarked, “Typically, during depositions, both the State and Defense are involved, and each is permitted to ask questions.”

GROOMING ALLEGATION

Her lawyer previously told The U.S. Sun: “The case is presently set for trial priority on July 24, 2025, and that is when a trial date will be set.”

Before getting physical with the boy, Yates reportedly told him that she’d not had sex in two weeks and was “on her period.”

She then began cuddling him and declared: “I wish you were 18, because you’re not old enough,” according to the affidavit.

Despite making the statement, officials claim they still engaged in oral sex and intercourse before the boy’s father burst in.

He allegedly shouted at them: “What the f*** is going on?” after being met by the horrific scene of his wife allegedly raping his son, it is claimed, and he started throwing objects.

The teen “overheard the suspect telling [his] father she was sorry, saying the child victim looks like his father when he was younger,” according to the police report.

The dad then drove his son to his grandparents’ house.

Yates is accused of grooming the boy in the weeks before the alleged abuse, with the teen spending considerable time around her whilst his dad was at work.

In another sickening twist, Yates is said to have called the boy the following day and told him she did not realize “how big” his private parts were.

She added she wished they hadn’t been caught so they could have continued in the act, officials claim.

The nurse’s medical license has since been revoked and she was released on police bail awaiting trial.

The Florida Department of Health said: “Nurses are placed in a position of trust.

“Therefore, it is imperative that they demonstrate good judgment and good moral character.

“Ms. Yates’ decision to engage in sexual activity with a minor child and/or her decision to engage in oral and penetrative sex indicates that she lacks the good judgment and moral character necessary to be a registered nurse.”

She is said to have made several lewd comments to him and exposed him to sexualized behavior.

Yates reportedly said: “I bet everyone thought you were my little boy toy,” as the pair left a gym.

On another occasion, she allegedly made whipped cream, put some on her tongue, and stuck it out at the teen, asking: “Oh, you like that?”

The stepson told cops Yates repeatedly told him she was “horny” in the week before they had sex.

The alleged victim told police he has suffered extreme emotional distress as a result of the alleged abuse.

He claimed to be spending most of his days sleeping, stopped eating, and was struggling with substance abuse.

After making the grim discovery, the dad allegedly stayed silent.

A concerned family member later sent police an anonymous tip which resulted in Yates being arrested.
