Dems' migrant stunts prove AGAIN they think they're above the law

Democrats nationwide face significant challenges in adhering to the principle that “no one is above the law,” a rule they often cite—recent clashes highlight the left’s efforts to support illegal immigrants.

Firstly, at New Jersey’s Delaney Hall Detention Center, which accommodates border crossers accused of offenses ranging from rape to murder, Representatives Robert Menendez Jr. and LaMonica McIver found themselves in a confrontation with ICE agents as McIver attempted to force entry into the facility.

Also protesting was Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, who ended up in cuffs and custody for his part in the fracas.

Menendez went on TV this weekend, insanely, to blame the immigration enforcement officers he and his colleagues went after.

Because, you see, every criminal and thug who crossed our border illegally deserves to stay here forever and hoover up infinite tax dollars.

And Democrats get to do whatever they want, whenever they want, with zero consequences ever or else it’s fascism.

This mindset—laws only matter for political opponents—was evident when Massachusetts state Rep. Etel Haxhiaj reportedly assaulted ICE officers and incited chaos as she and others tried to disrupt a mission targeting a dangerous illegal immigrant.

Local school board candidate Ashley Spring was there too and now faces several charges.

Hmmm, after Jan. 6, we thought doing anything bad to cops was insurrection; guess that’s another “principle” that doesn’t apply to the left.

Then again, it seems like Democrats are embracing a role as the lawless party when it comes to immigration and the border — both in these small-scale acts of political thuggery and in their backing for the wave-them-all-in, open-border Biden policies.

The great mystery is why they think Americans as a whole won’t notice.
