The recall potentially affects 250,651 vehicles.
NEW YORK — Chrysler is voluntarily recalling some of its 2022-2025 Pacifica and Voyager vehicles to replace their side curtain airbags, if needed.
Approximately 250,651 vehicles are being recalled due to an issue where some side curtain airbags might not maintain adequate pressure during deployment, increasing the risk for passengers in certain crash scenarios, as per the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The issue arises from inadequately sealed seams, and dealerships will conduct inspections and replace the faulty side curtain airbags at no cost to vehicle owners.
The parent company of Chrysler reported that there have been no injuries or accidents linked to this problem, but they advise customers to adhere to the directions provided in their recall notifications.
