THREE individuals lost their lives and 16 others were hurt in a mass shooting that occurred outside a nightclub in Chicago.

Shots rang out after revelers went to an album release party for the local artist Mello Buckzz on Wednesday night.

Cops revealed 19 people were shot at in what they are probing as a drive-by attack, as per the CBS affiliate WBBM-TV.

The conditions of the injured victims remain unknown.

It’s not known how many people were taken to the hospital.

Police have not revealed any information about the victims who were killed.

Pictures from the scene show an area sealed off and cops standing by.

So far this year, the US has seen 195 mass shootings, according to the Gun Violence Archive.

A mass shooting is an incident where at least four people have been injured or killed.
