Scrubbing In co-host Tanya Rad Yadegar had a close encounter with the increasingly camera-shy Taylor Swift last Saturday.
The 38-year-old Ryan Seacrest protégée met the betrothed 35-year-old during Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s lavish wedding in Santa Barbara, CA.
Tanya’s best friend, Paulina Char, connected her with Taylor by mentioning that she had walked down the aisle to Taylor’s 2020 song, “Invisible String,” which was covered by Sofia Carson during her wedding on March 14 to attorney Roby Yadegar.
‘She was so kind. She loved it,’ Yadegar gushed on her podcast Monday.
‘She asked me about the song and expressed how much it meant to her! I can’t even begin to describe how magical, regal, genuine, present, invested, and normal she was.’
The Orange County native – who was one of 170 guests invited – added: ‘I audibly gasped.’

Swift delivered a heartfelt speech on Saturday to her cherished ‘sister’ Selena, a long-standing member of her celebrity friend group, at a stunning 17-acre palm-filled venue called Sea Crest Nursery.
The billionaire pop stars – nicknamed ‘Taylena’ – originally met in 2008 when they were each dating members of the boyband, Jonas Brothers.
In her touching address, Taylor shared how she and Gomez have experienced so much together, both in their careers and personal lives, and mentioned that whenever one of them faced heartbreak from a failed relationship over the years, they were always there to support each other.
Notably known for chronicling her ‘long list of ex-lovers’ in her pop songs, Swift told the attendees that Selena realized she was content with being herself and when she focused on just being who she was, that’s when she found love with Benny.
The 14-time Grammy winner added that Blanco and Gomez were a ‘perfect pair’ – surely a well deserved title after Gomez’s years of romantic turmoil with on-and-off ex Justin Bieber – and that ‘in all the years she has known Selena, she has never seen her so happy.’
A second source told the Daily Mail that Taylor talked about ‘always having Selena’s back and how they are sisters – and that while Selena may see Taylor as the big sister, Taylor sees Selena as teaching her so much.’
Swift, of course, is gearing up for her own wedding, having recently announced her engagement to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
As such, the Pennsylvania-born belter ‘joked in the speech that Selena beat her to altar but at least they both have found the loves of their lives.’

The 33-year-old ‘Texican’ beauty also invited her Wizards of Waverly Place castmates Jennifer Stone and David DeLuise, her Only Murders in the Building castmates Steve Martin and Martin Short, as well as her Emilia Pérez castmates Zoe Saldaña and Édgar Ramírez.
Swift’s 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl drops this Friday.
