Jonah Hill flaunts weight loss on set after debuting new look

Jonah Hill once again showed off his slimmed-down physique while working on the set of his latest film.

The “Moneyball” actor was seen on Friday in Los Angeles on the set of “Cut Off,” almost unrecognizable in magenta coveralls, a tousled blond wig, and a full beard, as he strolled near the trailers.

Sporting black work shoes and wire-rimmed glasses, he appeared to be wearing an earbud while casually chatting on his smartphone.

At 41, Hill was previously noted on the film’s set in a strikingly different, 70s-inspired getup. He wore a tight leopard print mock turtleneck with low-rise skinny jeans, embellished with what looked like fringed chaps.

The actor completed his 70s look with retro glasses and a chunky chain bracelet, with a black belt around his waist highlighting his significant weight loss.

His co-star Kristen Wiig, 52, was also seen, wearing an unusual combination of red lace leggings and a lace bra layered over a purple lacy top. Hill has taken on the roles of both writer and director for this film.

The “Wolf of Wall Street” actor lost 40 pounds with diet and a nutritionist in 2011. He also credited pushups.

During a 2011 interview on “Kidd Kraddick in the Morning,” Hill mentioned, “I started at 10 and then I just like worked my way up and now I do 100 every day,” as reported by People.

He’d gained weight again by 2014, and a source explained at the time that the actor had battled binge eating.

“Jonah has been heavier than ever and binge eating,” a Hill source told us. “He’s in a bad place, which is just making the cycle worse.”

In February 2021, the actor explained how he learned to “accept himself” in a since-deleted social media post addressing body image and his fluctuating weight. “I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid 30s even in front of family and friends,” he wrote.

“So the idea that the media tries to play me by stalking me while surfing and printing photos like this and it can’t phase me anymore is dope. I’m 37 and finally love and accept myself.”
