In an exciting update for Knicks fans, Bryant Park has been designated as a new venue for Monday night’s Game 3 NBA Finals watch party against the San Antonio Spurs. The announcement came on Monday morning.
The decision follows the cancellation of the original watch party location outside Madison Square Garden due to increased security measures needed for President Trump’s anticipated attendance, as decided by the NYPD and Secret Service.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani expressed the communal spirit of these events, stating, “These watch parties have become a celebration of New York City itself.”
He further added, “Fans from every corner of the city have united to support the Knicks. This is a shared experience for all of us. By adding Bryant Park as another watch party site, even more fans can join in this thrilling Knicks Finals journey.”
The Bryant Park event is free to the public but limited to 5,000 attendees, requiring prior registration.

Additional watch parties will continue at Central Park and Brooklyn Bowl, ensuring fans from across New York City can witness the Knicks’ first NBA Finals bid since 1973.
