Rapper Nicki Minaj joined President Trump at a rally in Michigan on Sunday, arriving in head-to-toe Gucci as one of the president’s senior aides joked that she could be a contender for a high-profile White House opening.
The “Super Bass” singer was seen walking beside Trump after they stepped off Air Force One at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. The appearance marked another prominent public outing for Minaj alongside the president.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung, who has a reputation for provocative social media posts, shared video of Minaj arriving with Trump and jokingly suggested she might soon be heading to the briefing room.
“I think we may have found the next White House Press Secretary!” Cheung wrote.
