Breaking Bad actor Dean Norris and his wife of more than two decades, Bridget Norris, are ending their marriage amid significant financial challenges.
Bridget, 63, filed for divorce in Riverside County, California, in 2025, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The documents state that the couple, who married in October 2001, separated on January 15, 2025.
Norris and Bridget share five children, including two minors: Zoe, 17, and Dean, 16. Bridget has requested joint legal and physical custody of the younger children.
She also sought spousal support and asked the court to determine each spouse’s rights to property obtained during the marriage.

Norris filed a response several months later, although the divorce does not appear to have been finalized.
The court records also show that the couple is navigating a Chapter 11 bankruptcy involving their Temecula, California, restaurant, Swing Inn Cafe, which they purchased in 2022.
Norris said the restaurant’s gross revenue dropped by $1 million between 2024 and 2025.
The company reported assets of approximately $100,000 to $500,000, alongside liabilities ranging from $1 million to $10 million.
In addition to the cafe, the estranged couple also operates the Norris Performing Arts Center.
Norris rose to fame as DEA agent Hank Schrader on Breaking Bad, appearing on the AMC series from 2008 through 2013.
His character was the outspoken brother-in-law of Walter White, the drug kingpin portrayed by Bryan Cranston.
Norris later returned as Hank in the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul.

More recently, Norris appeared in the legal drama Confession alongside Rob Lowe and James Franco, as well as in four episodes of the television series Liam and Michael.
Last month, Norris was among those mourning the death of his Breaking Bad co-star RJ Mitte, who died by suicide at 34.
Norris, Cranston and Aaron Paul were among the first cast members to publicly pay tribute to Mitte.
In a post on X, Norris, who played the uncle of Mitte’s character, wrote: “Oh my God! Was working just found out about RJ. I am heartbroken. Though RJ didn’t play my TV son, I always looked out for him as a young kid on set.”
“He was a sweetheart of a young man and will be greatly missed. This is so heartbreaking, I can’t believe it. Thinking of him and his family.”
A county official confirmed to TMZ that Mitte, best known for portraying Walter White Jr. on the hit AMC series, died in Texas.
The publication subsequently reported that a separate source said Mitte had died by suicide.
Cranston, 70, said he was “in deep despair” following the death of his on-screen son. In an emotional Instagram tribute, he wrote: “I’ll miss you, son.”

Norris added that it was “especially devastating” that Mitte “took his own life,” explaining that the pair had recently exchanged text messages and made plans to meet for lunch.
Paul, 47, who played Jesse Pinkman on the series, told The Hollywood Reporter: “I am at a loss.
“I am heartbroken over this news. RJ, I love you my friend. You will be missed. And to whoever happens to be reading this, please know you are loved, and you are not alone. Always remember that.”
Mitte was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, or CP, at the age of three. He later became an advocate for performers and other entertainment-industry professionals with disabilities.
Cerebral palsy refers to a group of disorders affecting movement, posture and balance, caused by abnormal brain development or damage. Symptoms can include muscle stiffness, limited motor control, and problems with balance and coordination.
