A Louisiana high school teacher was arrested late Thursday and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Evan Michael Sevin-Chauvin was listed as the cross country coach at Airline High School as well as a teacher, KSLA reported.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office did not provide any details about the allegations, but the parish school district said it was cooperating with authorities.

“We are greatly disturbed by the nature of the charges brought against this former educator and are cooperating with law enforcement to the fullest extent,” the district said. “It is important to note at this time investigators do not believe students were involved in or actually witnessed any of the inappropriate behavior he is accused of committing.”

The district said Sevin-Chauvin “is no longer working in our school system.”

He is being held on a $150,000 bond.
