Savannah Chrisley and her fiancé, convicted fraudster Jason Galanis, married on July 14—more than three months before the couple announced that they are expecting a child.
The marriage was confirmed Thursday by People, which cited marriage records. Chrisley, 29, and Galanis, 56, reportedly exchanged vows at Cayman Islands Baptist Church after dating for about a year.
Chrisley said on her podcast Tuesday that the couple became engaged last December in the Cayman Islands.
Galanis proposed with an oval-cut diamond ring he designed with Genovese Jewelers, a St. Louis-based jewelry retailer, according to the publication.
On Tuesday, Chrisley announced that she is pregnant with her first child with Galanis, whom she initially identified only as “J.”

Galanis was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison in September 2020 after pleading guilty to orchestrating two financial fraud schemes involving a Native American tribe and investors
US Weekly later identified Chrisley’s fiancé as Jason Galanis. Federal authorities said he had previously received a prison sentence after admitting his role in multiple fraudulent schemes.
Galanis was sentenced in September 2020 after pleading guilty earlier that year to directing two financial fraud operations. One scheme cost a Native American tribe and investors millions of dollars, according to federal officials.
After Galanis’s identity became public Tuesday, Chrisley appeared to brush aside the scrutiny by posting a brief sonogram video on Instagram and writing that her baby is “innocent.”
The sentence required Galanis to forfeit more than $80 million, along with properties in Los Angeles and New York. He was also ordered to pay more than $80 million in restitution.
Galanis was previously associated professionally with Hunter Biden. While in custody in March 2024, he testified before a Republican impeachment inquiry involving former President Joe Biden.
Savannah’s father, Todd Chrisley, discussed the relationship Thursday during an appearance on the Dumb Blonde podcast.
“He’s 20 years older, and it was not something I embraced because, I mean, to the point that I had a choice to make,” Todd said. “It was either embrace my daughter’s decision or lose my daughter, and nothing is ever coming between me and my daughter.”
“I love Savannah with my heart and soul, but did I advocate for this? No, but I will tell you that he has treated her with the utmost respect.”

In March 2025, President Donald Trump commuted Galanis’s sentence. Months later, Trump pardoned Todd and Julie Chrisley in connection with their 2022 bank fraud and tax evasion convictions.
Prosecutors had alleged that Todd and Julie obtained millions of dollars in bank loans through fraudulent means.
The couple was also accused of concealing income to avoid paying taxes.
Trump said last May that, based on what he had heard, the Chrisleys had received “pretty harsh treatment.”
Savannah, who endorsed Trump during a 2024 speech at the Republican National Convention, said officials in his administration had “seen the corruption” involved in her parents’ case.

“I didn’t have to do anything other than stand firm in my beliefs and my convictions and fight for my parents,” she said at the time.
On her Unlocked podcast, Savannah also discussed her relationship with Galanis and their 27-year age difference.
“I have always said, ‘I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years.’”
“It’s just such an amazing, fulfilling feeling to finally find your person. And I’m there. So yes, the age difference. So what?” she said.
Chrisley described Galanis as her “best friend,” saying their relationship is built on mutual “love and respect” and that they do nearly everything together.
The Chrisley Knows Best star also outlined the couple’s hopes as they prepare for parenthood.
“We have so many dreams … together, we work together … we want to have life experiences with each other,” Savannah said. “And I think that’s when you know you have the right person, when you don’t feel like you have to escape them at times.”
Savannah said on her podcast that she and Galanis have shared a “dream relationship” since beginning to date in July 2025.
“Our relationship as a whole has been absolutely amazing,” she said. “It has been the dream relationship that any woman could hope to be in. There hasn’t been drama and chaos and dysfunction. There has been absolutely none of that.”
