A shooting at a Citibank campus in Florida left at least two people dead and prompted the evacuation of dozens of others, authorities said.
The incident began around noon Wednesday at the Sabal Park Business Area in Brandon, just outside Tampa, police said.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office scanner traffic indicated that an unidentified victim, reportedly found wounded and bleeding in the cafeteria, died after the shooting, according to the New York Post.
Scanner audio also indicated that a gray vehicle crashed into the building before a person carrying a shotgun and a handgun got out.
The unidentified suspect also died in what officials described as a “targeted incident.”
Sources told the outlet that the shooting appeared to involve a vendor rather than Citibank employees.
Dramatic images from the scene showed paramedics rushing gurneys toward the building, while another image showed a man strapped to a gurney being taken away.

Douglas, a Citibank employee, described the confusion that erupted when the shooting began.
He told FOX 13 that he was working at a food-court station serving customers when he suddenly saw a crowd running. At first, he thought a fight had broken out.
Douglas ran toward a rear door and waited there until he saw police officers enter the building.
“Just love your loved ones, you know? You never know when you’re gonna see ‘em. Talk to your people. If there’s that one person that you haven’t spoken to in a while, talk to ’em. You never know, tomorrow may not be tomorrow,” Douglas said.
Another woman told the outlet that she received frightening messages from her husband, who was inside the building during the shooting.
Her husband, who works in catering for the company, said everyone inside was hiding. The couple exchanged messages telling each other they loved one another.
