Blackledge died by suicide, according to documents seen by People.

He had a gunshot wound to his head and investigators revealed they found a note.

He was found by a relative at his home in Newport, North Carolina.

The influencer had more than 1.1 million followers on the platform and he produced lip-syncing content and clips with his girlfriend, Emmie Gillikin.

Gillikin marked what would’ve been the couple’s 11-month anniversary in a touching TikTok clip earlier this month.

“I wish you were here to be celebrating with me but I know you are up in heaven,” the caption said.

“I miss you more than anything, each day gets harder and harder but knowing one day I’ll be up there with you makes things easier.

“Continue keeping me safe Josh. I see you every single evening.

“I love you Josh don’t ever forget that, can’t wait to see you up there waiting for me.”

Gillikin shared a picture of Blackledge sitting in what appears to be a buggy in a car park.

She selected Hudson Westbrook’s track, House Again, for the background music.
