King Charles III and Queen Camilla are set to embark on a state visit to Washington, DC, marking a historic occasion with the first-ever military review, as detailed in a schedule from the White House.
President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will extend a warm welcome to the royal visitors on Monday, with the couple staying through Thursday, according to an announcement from the West Wing.
“Honoring a tradition that stretches back to the 18th century, the President and First Lady will proudly host Their Majesties’ official arrival with a classic military ceremony,” the announcement revealed.

Following this, there will be a Troop Inspection featuring 300 US Service members, alongside nearly 500 personnel from all six military branches, marking a first in history, as noted by the White House.
The event will showcase the US Army Fife and Drum Corps, observed by distinguished guests from the White House’s Blue Room.
American military families will join the official US delegation, which also comprises representatives from the UK and students from the British International School of Washington.
After the military ceremony ends, King Charles and Queen Camilla will sign the guest book of the White House — and then Trump and the king will break off into a bilateral meeting, the release detailed.
