NYC high school dean allegedly 'rubbed his genitals' on teen: cops

A dean from a Bronx high school has been taken into custody following accusations of inappropriate conduct involving a 17-year-old girl. According to police reports, the incident allegedly involved the dean pinning the girl to a desk and engaging in inappropriate physical contact.

The accused, Raheem Logue, faces charges of sexual abuse and forcible touching. The arrest took place around noon on Friday at the Bronx School for Law, Government and Justice.

Logue, who is 44 years old, serves as one of the three deans at the Concourse Village educational institution, as noted on the school’s official website.

Authorities allege that during the incident, Logue forcefully grabbed the young girl’s neck and pressed her against a desk, as described by a police spokesperson. The arrest was made promptly after the alleged assault.

Details regarding whether the victim is a student at the school remain undisclosed at this time.

It’s unclear if the victim was a student.

Logue pleaded not guilty and was released on his own recognizance.

The NYC Department of Education, the school’s superintendent Fred Walsh and Logue did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The Bronx School for Law, Government and Justice includes students from 6th to 12th grade.

It is unclear how long Logue has worked there.
