Frightening footage shows indiscriminate Iranian 'cluster warhead' explode on Israel street, killing 1

Chilling video footage from Monday reveals an Iranian rocket detonating on an Israeli street, resulting in one fatality and another person injured.

The rocket, part of a cluster munition designed to scatter bombs over a wide area, detonated across multiple cities in central Israel.

In Yehud, a man lost his life and another sustained critical injuries at a construction site. Meanwhile, a third individual suffered serious injuries in Or Yehuda, as reported by medical officials to The Times of Israel.

Security cameras captured the moment of the Or Yehuda explosion, showing a peaceful street suddenly engulfed in flames, with a man knocked to the ground amidst the smoke and shockwave.

A nearby vehicle halted as individuals rushed from all directions to assist those injured by the blast.

The victims, both those deceased and injured, were in their 40s, according to reports from The Times of Israel.

A third person was injured in another cluster warhead explosion Monday and hospitalized in serious condition.

The volleys were part of an ongoing campaign of Iranian barrages against Israel in response to its joint US attack on Tehran on Feb. 28 that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and nearly 50 of the country’s top-ranking government and military officials.

Iran has been hitting back with rocket and drone attacks on western interests across the Middle East, but the campaign of bombing by US and Israeli forces has continued unabated throughout Iran.
