Watch: Fed Agent Action in Minneapolis Descends Into Chaos As Crowd Tries to Stop It, Thinking It's ICE

The left is stirring up a frenzy once more, similar to what we’ve witnessed before with instances like Occupy and BLM. Now, their focus has shifted to protests related to Israel, Tesla, and ICE.

Consider the intense situation that unfolded on Tuesday when federal agents assembled near the Las Cuatro Milpas restaurant in South Minneapolis. Believing it was an ICE raid, a substantial crowd formed to obstruct the agents’ actions. Law enforcement was called to manage the crowd. However, as clarified by Mayor Jacob Frey, the event had no link to immigration enforcement.

“This incident was related to a criminal search warrant for drugs and money laundering,” Frey said. But the crowd didn’t wait to figure that out; they just went off anyway.

WCCO reported people throwing things at law enforcement.

People were pepper-sprayed.

Investigative reporter Nick Shirley happened to be driving by and caught a lot of the craziness as people went into overdrive trying to block the police from taking away “immigrants” – that they weren’t taking away. He caught 22 minutes of the insanity, which you can see at the link, but here’s a shorter version plus some other videos that our sister site Townhall also reported.

Warning for graphic language in the following videos:

Homeland Security did release a statement calling it “a groundbreaking criminal operation today — Minnesota’s first under the Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) umbrella,” which marked “a new chapter in how we confront complex, multidimensional threats. From drug smuggling to criminal labor trafficking, this operation showcases the breadth of our collective missions and the strength of a united front.”

You had local police having to “clarify” that it wasn’t immigration enforcement, as WCCO reported.

But why should they have to clarify anything? People should not obstruct law enforcement actions, including those involving ICE. Attitudes like this are putting law enforcement in danger.
