HSTikkyTokky avoids jail after crashing £230,000 McLaren supercar

HSTikkyTokky, the TikTok influencer whose real name is Harrison Sullivan, has narrowly escaped jail time following a high-speed crash involving a supercar and a lengthy absence from court. The 24-year-old was involved in an accident with his McLaren in Virginia Water, Surrey, back in March 2024 and subsequently failed to appear in court.

Instead of facing the legal consequences, Sullivan spent the next year living in Dubai, Thailand, and Spain, all the while continuing to create content for his social media followers. His international escapades came to an end in August when he was detained in Spain for unrelated issues, leading to his return to the UK and arrest on October 10.

In court last month, Sullivan admitted to charges of dangerous driving and operating a vehicle without insurance. This week, he appeared at Staines Magistrates’ Court, donning a grey prison tracksuit, to receive his sentence. The court handed him a one-year suspended custodial sentence and barred him from driving for the next two years.

He was eventually detained for unrelated matters in Spain in August, brought back to the UK by police and finally arrested on October 10, bringing an end to his time on the run.

Last month, the influencer pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and driving without insurance.

Today Sullivan appeared at Staines Magistrates’ Court wearing a grey prison tracksuit to be handed a one-year suspended custodial sentence and suspension from driving for two years.

Witnesses told police Sullivan was ‘in a supercar going extremely fast’ with one saying he was travelling at ‘at least 100mph or more’ before the crash.

Data from the crashed McLaren indicated Sullivan was travelling at 71mph in a 40mph zone at the moment of the crash, the court heard.

HSTikkyTokky Dodges Jail Time Following £230,000 McLaren Crash

‘HSTIKKYTOKKY’ provides unregulated trading advice to his primarily young and male followers

‘It was going 30mph over the speed limit on a single carriageway in broad daylight with other road users,’ said Kane Alexander, prosecuting.

Several members of Sullivan’s friends and family joined him in court.

Sullivan, who boasts millions of followers online under his ‘HSTikkyTokky’ persona, had previously drawn criticism for leaving the UK shortly after the incident.

He was also accused of leaving his friend and fellow influencer General G injured after crashing the luxury McLaren.

Dramatic photos from the time showed the purple supercar, capable of reaching 60mph in 2.8 seconds, completely destroyed.

Following the crash, police confirmed an arrest warrant had been issued for Sullivan, saying he was believed to have fled the country after he was due to take part in a Misfits boxing match in Qatar.

However, the TikTok star continued to post online, taunting police and confusing fans about his whereabouts.

He claimed on TikTok that he had flown back to Britain, posting a video wearing a pink T-shirt with palm trees in the background and repeating five times that he was ‘in Brentwood, in Essex.’

He later shared a mugshot of himself on X, writing: ‘I’ll turn myself in tomorrow morning hold tight yeh.’

In another post, he added: ‘I’m currently residing in Brentwood, Essex. Postcode CM150TR. Not sure why you’re looking for me though I’ve never driven a car in my life so cannot be wanted for such a heinous crime as this?!’

But hours later, Sullivan appeared in a foul-mouthed rant filmed inside a Dubai shopping centre, where signs for Jumeirah Golf Estates and Essence Healing Spa could be seen in the background.

The fitness influencer is reportedly set to appear in a Louis Theroux documentary for Netflix exploring the impact of online misogyny on young boys.

In one viral clip, Theroux recites a previous remark Sullivan had made: ‘Call me racist, call me a misogynist, call me homophobic, call me a scammer – I’m all those things.’

Sullivan responded: ‘That’s my way of saying I don’t care. Say what you want about me, I am that, cool. I don’t care. And what?’

In a letter to the Judge, Sullivan wrote: ‘Spreading a positive message and helping people less fortunate than myself, that’s what makes me the happiest.’

Sullivan will have an electronic tag for three months and is expected to complete 300 hours of unpaid work and 30 days of rehabilitation.

The prosecution has also applied for £18,049.47 to be paid to Surrey Police for a chartered flight to bring Sullivan back to the UK.

A costs hearing will be held at Staines Magistrates’ Court on January 15.
