Southern Command takes out another vessel

U.S. Southern Command has confirmed that Joint Task Force Southern Spear executed a lethal strike on December 29, marking its first such operation since December 22. This strike resulted in the deaths of two individuals identified as narco-terrorists aboard a vessel associated with recognized terrorist organizations in international waters.

In an announcement on social media, SOUTHCOM reported, “On December 29, under the directive of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations in international waters.” The statement also noted that intelligence had verified the vessel’s presence along established narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific.

Southern Command takes out another vessel

According to U.S. Southern Command, the operation successfully neutralized two male narco-terrorists, with no injuries sustained by U.S. military personnel.

This operation marks the 30th strike conducted since September 2, and it raises the total number of individuals killed in these operations to at least 106, as reported by U.S. Southern Command.
