CHICAGO (WLS) — Taste of Chicago returns to Grant Park on Wednesday, bringing one of the city’s signature summer food celebrations back to the lakefront.
The festival will continue through Sunday, with many of Chicago’s best-known restaurants serving sample-sized portions of local favorites.

Admission is free, and the event will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Visitors should plan to pay with credit cards, as all food vendors at the festival are cashless.
A long list of returning vendors is expected, including Billy Goat Tavern, Connie’s Pizza, Eli’s Cheesecake and Lou Malnati’s, along with additional pop-up food vendors throughout the event.

This year’s festival will also introduce a new attraction: the Chef’s Stage, spotlighting notable names from Chicago’s dining scene.

The Taste of Chicago will feature musical performances by Beach Bunny, Original Koffee, Common, Babyface and Julieta Venegas as well as live music and free SummerDance programming.
The festival will also have karaoke and Chicago trivia, expanded family programming and a Ferris wheel.
