A New South Wales man accused of poisoning three women and secretly recording their alleged abuse subjected one victim and her family to a terrifying 20-minute ordeal before allegedly detaining her and raping her, according to court documents.
Christopher Ridings, 39, from Tumbi Umbi on the Central Coast, was arrested in December after police allegedly discovered 2.5 million images documenting the sexual and physical abuse of three women aged between 29 and 31 over a seven-year period.
He faces 210 charges, including 109 counts of intentionally recording an intimate image without consent in a domestic-violence context, 57 counts of being an accessory to sexual intercourse without consent, 12 counts of aggravated sexual assault involving deprivation of liberty and 10 counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
Prosecutors will also allege that Ridings attacked one of the women and her mother at a property in Tumbi Umbi on December 10, 2025, according to court documents reviewed on Thursday.
The documents allege Ridings assaulted the woman’s mother between 12.30am and 1.20am before detaining the younger woman with the intention of obtaining a sexual advantage.
During the 20-minute period between 1am and 1.20am, he is further accused of assaulting and intimidating the woman, as well as recording a third woman performing a private act without her consent for his sexual gratification.
The additional allegations include two counts of filming a person engaged in a private act without consent, one count of detaining a person to obtain an advantage, one count of common assault and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Ridings is also charged with two counts of stalking or intimidating the woman and her mother with the intention of causing fear or physical harm. A separate charge alleges he breached an apprehended domestic violence order in February.

Police have also charged Marcus Roy John, 41, (pictured) with multiple alleged rapes linked to the Ridings investigation
The alleged incident is understood to have occurred only hours before Ridings was arrested.
The new charges follow further allegations that Ridings administered poison intending to injure or cause distress, sexually assaulted the women in the presence of others and sexually assaulted a person under 16.
Ridings remains in custody, with the case due to return to Wyong Local Court on December 8.
Earlier this month, NSW Police confirmed that a second man had been charged with multiple alleged rapes as part of the investigation into Ridings.
Marcus Roy John, 41, was arrested at a home in Kanwal on the Central Coast on October 12 and charged with three counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
Court documents allege John raped one of the women in Tumbi Umbi on November 22, 2024.
He allegedly returned two months later and raped the woman again on February 9, 2025, before a third alleged assault on May 5, 2025.
John was refused bail and is due to appear before Wyong Local Court on December 9.
Days before his arrest in December over an unrelated matter, an account believed to be linked to Ridings shared this image

Earlier disturbing posts were also found on a social media account believed to be linked to Ridings and followed by members of his immediate family.
In August last year, the account shared a black-and-white image bearing the message: ‘A woman’s lady part shouldn’t be called a P***y!!
‘It should be call a ‘Put-Cha!’ Put-Cha in your feeling, Put-Cha in jail, Put-Cha on child support, Put-Cha in all kinds of messed up situations. lol!!’
Another post, reshared in early December, showed a human skeleton alongside the words: ‘I avoid s*** because my temper can go from zero to life in prison in two seconds.’
Ridings’ mother replied: ‘Keep your cool’, adding a kissing-face emoji.
The following day, another image was reshared with the message: ‘My demons will bend your demons over.’
It was the account’s final public post.
Detectives investigating domestic violence allegations allegedly uncovered the files during a search of the Tumbi Umbi home in December 2025.
Police allege they found a ‘large amount of covertly filmed sexual content’ stored across 120 electronic devices.
The investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
