FBI nabs fraudster accused in $1B+ Medicare scheme
Fox News’ David Spunt reported on the FBI’s arrest of Herbert Leon Kimble, a fugitive accused in an alleged $1.2 billion Medicare fraud scheme. The case is tied to the Department of Justice’s newly launched “Most Wanted Fraudsters” list, which focuses on suspects wanted in cases involving health care fraud, SNAP benefit fraud and other alleged financial crimes.
A 12-year-old boy was fatally shot Sunday night after gunfire erupted during what police described as a “brawl” in Nashville’s theater district.
The victim, identified as Damarion Morehead, was shot in the head after a fight involving an estimated six to seven people broke out near the intersection of Representative John Lewis Way and Deaderick Street, close to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
Morehead was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities with the Metro Nashville Police Department arrested 24-year-old Devin Orr, identified by investigators as the suspected shooter. Police said video from the scene helped them piece together what happened during the confrontation.

“During the brawl, Orr reached into his waistband to retrieve a handgun. At this point, persons involved in the fight began to run away. Shots were fired and Morehead fell to the ground,” the Metro Nashville Police Department said in a statement.

The brawl started over a female, police say.
When detectives questioned Orr, he allegedly admitted to putting a handgun inside a sewer; it was later recovered by investigators.

Davidson County court records say Orr is due in court on Wednesday; an attorney for the suspect has not yet been listed.
