School is almost in session, and until the bell rings, the “Abbott Elementary” cast is celebrating Emmys season before season five.

The “Abbott Elementary” stars attended the Warner Bros. Television’s 77th Primetime celebration at Spago Beverly Hills. They expressed their admiration for the Emmys and even hinted at some surprises for the next season.

“Being part of such a fantastic show feels like an indescribable blessing,” said William Stanford Davis, who portrays Mr. Johnson. “I cherish every moment. I work with an amazing cast, and I adore each one of them. The team is wonderful, the writers are talented—it feels like paradise!”

Lisa Ann Walter dished about how much she enjoys these types of parties and how important it is to celebrate with her fellow Warner Bros. peers.

“It seems like the awards season is all about the pre-event parties,” Walter commented. “I thoroughly enjoy the BAFTA Tea and celebrating with fellow Warner Brother colleagues. The night-before gatherings are particularly enjoyable. It’s a relaxed atmosphere; I opt for boots to stay comfortable and on my feet for hours so that I can attend all these gatherings effortlessly.”

Chris Perfetti hints to fans that season five is by far the “best season yet.”

“I’m excited to get people pumped about season five, which is undoubtedly one of our best seasons yet,” said Perfetti.

Sheryl Lee Ralph addressed Abbott fans, stating she is entirely in the dark about her character’s upcoming storyline. There is online speculation suggesting that her role might become significantly prominent.

“Here’s what I have to say to everyone; I’m delighted you all have the inside scoop because I’m entirely clueless,” Ralph mentioned. “Quinta has kept it all under wraps from me, and it isn’t until I step onto red or blue carpets that I learn about what’s in store for my character this season.”

One secret that Ralph can drop is that one of the holiday episodes is “outstanding.”

“Our Halloween episode is outstanding!” Ralph excitedly says. “I can’t tell you nothing more about it, but oh, it’s wonderful.”

“Abbott Elementary” returns to ABC on Wednesday, Oct. 1, and is streaming now on Hulu.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of ABC, Hulu and this ABC station.
