The news was revealed on Wednesday through a post on the team’s social media channels, sparking enthusiasm among supporters.
The announcement read, “We’re thrilled to introduce @mcdonalds as the official naming rights partner of our new stadium!” capturing the excitement surrounding the collaboration.

This significant project broke ground in March and is strategically positioned along the Chicago River near Roosevelt Road, marking a new era for the city’s sports infrastructure.
Describing the partnership as a union of “two Chicago icons,” a McDonald’s spokesperson expressed pride in the collaboration via social media.
The stadium represents a substantial $750 million investment, entirely financed by private funds, and stands as the first major stadium development in Chicago in several decades.
It’s the first time McDonald’s has a naming rights partnership with a major professional sports stadium in the U.S.
“As we take the next step on our journey to build a world class Club, our commitment to Chicago is at the center of everything we do,” said Joe Mansueto, Chicago Fire FC Owner and Chairman. “That’s why McDonald’s is the perfect partner – an iconic global brand with deep Chicago roots and shared values in supporting our community. McDonald’s Park will be the stadium that Chicago deserves.”
The team had their home in Bridgeview, before moving to Soldier Field in 2019.
The new stadium is expected to seat over 22,000 people and open by 2028, ahead of the MLS season.
