Authorities in California are actively searching for a 69-year-old man from Inglewood who has been missing since Monday and is considered at risk.

The California Highway Patrol, in coordination with the Inglewood Police Department, announced a Silver Alert on Sunday to help locate Cortesio Morse, a resident of Los Angeles County, who has not been seen since.

Morse was last spotted at approximately 10 p.m. on Monday evening. His whereabouts at that time were recorded near Hindry Avenue and Arbor Vitae Street in Inglewood, as reported by the CHP.

Described as a Black male, Morse is 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs around 170 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes.

When last seen, Morse was dressed in a khaki hat, a beige-and-navy jacket, navy pants, and black shoes.

Authorities suspect that Morse is moving on foot.

If you have any information on Morse or his whereabouts, police encourage you to contact 911.

According to CHP, a Silver Alert assists in getting immediate information to the helping, in an effort to assist missing “elderly, or developmentally or cognitively-impaired,” and/or those “determined to be at-risk.”
